Writing Samples
As a Brand Content Coordinator with CheapCaribbean, I've had countless opportunities to grow in my writing skills. Research has played a large part in my writing, as one of the main contributors to the company's blog.

Blogging
Stories. I love getting to tell stories about others through both visuals and writing. At both my internship with Brides of Oklahoma and my current work with CheapCaribbean, I've gained great experience storytelling through blogging. CheapCaribbean allows me to research and explore topics around one of my favorite things, travel! I've sharpened my research and writing skills, as well as learned how to create better workflow through my writing. Brides of Oklahoma gave me ample opportunity to learn how to operate the behind the scenes of blogging and websites. Writing about people's greatest day of their lives while learning the ropes of WordPress was an outstanding experience.
Social Media

My media internship at Brides of Oklahoma enabled me to have extensive exposure to all facets of social media. From researching and pitching social content for Instagram to writing captions and content for Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, my skills range broadly across all social platforms. With my time at CheapCaribbean, I've sharpened these skills, but I also have gained greater understanding behind the social planning process. Not only this, but I've gained insight into the ideation and creation of social, digital and content creation. I solely managed the UGC curation process from start to finish and overhauled the company's organization of user generated content.

Event Planning
One thing I love doing most is helping bring others' visions to life. I cannot think of a greater way to do that than through event planning. My time assisting and working with Alexa Kay Events allows me to experience the behind-the-scenes of wedding planning. This has given me ample opportunity to develop professional relationships with a variety of vendors and learn how to communicate effectively under pressure. Serving as Kappa Alpha Theta's Chief Marketing Officer offered me experience with the execution of large-scale philanthropic events with over 1,000 in attendance. My experiences in this position allowed me to see the management and delegation that goes behind executing a successful event.
